LED LCD TVs
Traditionally, LCD computers and LCD TV's have a cold cathode ray
tube (fluorescent lamp) as a backlight. Manufacturers, such as LG,
Samsung and JVC, are now including 'LED TV's' in their range. These
are LCD TV's with LED backlights. LED's (light emitting diodes),
give off little heat, are long lasting and energy saving, with the
benefit of lower power consumption.
